Secundrabad: At least eleven people were killed in a big fire broken in Godown wood in Secunderabad Telangana early on Wednesday.
The police said that twelve migrant workers from Bihar were trapped in the failure, located in a crowded area of Bhiguda Secunderabad when the fire erupted. While a worker escaped fire by jumping from the floor of a two-story building, eleven workers lost their lives
Alleged that fire was caused by a short circuit in the warehouse. The problem is being investigated, officials said, adding that the fire was watered.
Workers cannot save themselves because there is only one internal spiral ladder in the building, officials said to NDTV.
Expressing condolences for the incident, the chairman of Telangana K Chandrashekar Rao announced the compensation of each ₹ 5 lakh against the families of workers who were killed in fire. He also directed the Head of Secretary Somesh Kumar to make arrangements for the repatriation of their bodies.
